FREIGHTS ON PRODUCE.

PROSPECTS OF BIG REDUCTION. NO DETAILS ANNOUNCED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. In the House this afternoon, Mr. Massey stated that he was pleased to announce there were now bright prospects of a considerable reduction in shipping freights being obtained. He could not go into details, but he knew the indications were promising. If the shipping companies did not help the producers to get their produce Home, then he could only say they were gravely endangering their own interests.
