SINN FEINERS ON TRIAL. BRIDGES AND RAILWAYS IN PERIL. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received March 15, 5.3 p.m. London, March 14. A sensational trial is proceeding at Edinburgh of sixteen Sinn Feiners, including Jean Quinn, a young girl, on a charge of conspiracy to endanger life and property by means of explosives. The prisoners were manacled in threes while in the dock. The public was admitted to the Courthouse by ticket. The evidence showed that explosives of high power intended to destroy bridges and railways were stored in Jean Quinn’s room.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
