SALE OF RACEHORSES. By Telegraph .—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received March 15, 11.5 pjm. Melbourne, March 15. At. a sale of racehorses Stagefright realised 910 gu’neas.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. T.J.C. DISTRICT COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Taranaki Jockey Club District Committee was held last night. Present : Messrs. L. A. Nolan (ciairman), J. McLeod, J. Gray, H. Washer, B. H. Chaney, and G. Fraser. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs, S. Pitt and O. W. Sole. The programme of the Egimont Racing Club for their meeting on May 11 and 12 was approved. Permission was given to the Egmfint—Wanganui Trotting Club to use the Egmont racecourse on May 26, and the use. of the same course on March 28 was granted to the Waimate Plains Trotting Club. A trainers’ license was granted to J. George. Permission to train his own horses was given to F. Marsh, of Tikorangi.
