THE RARAWA. 3fie Rarawa is due to arrive from Onehunga ;-s usual to-morrow morning with passengers and cargo. She will sail on the return trip at. 8.20 p.im. THE MAINDY LODGE. The cargo steamer Malndy Lodge, with 3300 tons of coal from Newcastle, arrived at New Plymouth on Saturday night and berthed yesterday morning. The Malndy Lodge Is named after the manor house at Malndy, a suburb distanced about four miles from Cardiff, Wales. She is a steel' screw steamer of 2686 tons, built In 1916, and named originally tke Elmffee. Subsequently the vessel was sold to the Maindy Steamship Company, and re-named Maindy Lodge. • She has her engines placed right aft, and her holds have large hatches for the quick handling of coal cargo. She excells in this respect, having bunkered a battleship with 2500 tons of coal per day. The Maindy Lodge has five water ballast tanks that extend on her sides from her deck to. her bottom, and from a kind of double skin to her hull. corinnVfbom south. The Corinna is expected to arrive from southern ports to-morrpw with about 250 tons of general cargo. After discharging she will take in 28,000 boxes of butter for transhipment to the Zealandic at Wellington. FLORA eDUE WEDNESDAY. The Flora is due to leave Onehunga tomorrow for New Plymouth, and should arrive here on Wednesday. The vessel vtfll take In 12,000 crates of cheese for transhijihent at Wellington. COAL FROM WESTPORT. The Kowhai passed the Manukau Heads at 10.20 a.m. yesterday for New Plymouth, and should arrive here this morning. She is bringing about 400 tons of coal from Westport to discharge here. KITTAWA FROM GREYMOUTH. The Kittawa is scheduled to sail from Greymouth on Wednesday for New Plymouth with a cargo of coal. THE ROTHESAY BAY. The Rothesay Bay was expected to arrive at New Plymouth from Newcastle shortly with a cargo of coal to discharge here, but Saturday’s Wellington Times says that the vessel is due at that port within a day or two wljh 1150 tons of coal. This report was confirmed last night by the harbormaster (Captain Waller), who states that a mistake evidently occurred, and that the vessel was not intended for New Plymouth. CORINTHIC BRINGS CEMENT. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Corinthic, which Is due at Wellington at midday today from London and Southampton via Panama, is bringing a quantity of cement only, the material serving practically as ballast. The vessel will put out a small portion of the cement at Wellington, and will leave there on' Wednesday for Bluff with the remainder. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
