SELLING GOVERNMENT’S SURPLUS. CHEESE MARKET FIRM. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received March 13, 5.5 p.jm. London, March 12. The Food Ministry z has announced that after April 1 the remaining stocks of Government butter are to be disposed of by the Board of Trade on the advice of a committee representative of traders and officials by outright sales at ex-store prices according to quality. The Ministry is now offering certain grades and qualities unsuitable for general distribution at 180 s to 230 s with all faults. The cheese market is firm.- Colored is sftarce, and New Zealand is quoted at 158 s to l*62s and Australian at l-52s to 158 s. White is unchanged.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
