Tournament at Christchurch. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The New Zealand Polo Association’s annual tournament opened to-day. In matches for the Saville Cup, Pareora beat Christchurch by twelve goals to one, and Rangitikei beat Imuri by fifteen goals to two. Both games were rather one-sided. In the early stages of the Pajeora-Christchurch match A. ..Elworthy (captain of the Pafeora team) suffered an accident to his riding hand, which, it is feared, will prevent him taking any further active part Jn the tournament.
