THE PRINCE IN TEARS.

DISTRESS AT SUFFERING SOLDIERS .TOUCHING SCENE IN GLASGOW. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. March 10, 5.5 p.m. London, March 9. The Prince of Wales is visiting Glasgow. He had an enthusiastic welcome in the streets, especially in the poorer districts. He inspected a number of works of art in the Trades House, where he was installed as a Guild Brother. A touching incident occurred when the Prince noticing a number of crippled and limbless soldiers watching from a roofless building, mounted the dark stairway and shook hands with each man, until he came to a soldier minus both arms and another with both legs ampu_ tated, at which the Prince burst into tears. —Aus. and N.Z.
