RE-ARRANGEMENT OF PORTFOLIOS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Wellington, March 7. The Prime Minister (Mr. Massey) stated yesterday that the portfolio of Native Affairs, held formerly by Sir William Herries, was to be taken over by the Hom J. G. Coates. The Hon. G. J. Ande'rson (Minister for Labor) would take later the portfolio of Mines, which is held at preeent by the Prime Minister. Mr. Massey mentioned also that the Hon. W. Downie Stewart (Minister for Internal Affairs) would beconyj Minister for Customs and that Sir Francis Bell (Attorney-General) would take the portfolio of Marine. Some other adjustments will be required when the Prime Minister’s visit to Britain is definitely arranged.
