The New Plymouth office of the Northern Steam Ship Company received a telegram from Onehunga yesterday stating that the Rarawa's sailing from that port had been indefinitely postponed on account of labor trouble. NGATORO TO-MORROW. The Ngatoro is due to arrive to-morrow from’ Gryemouth via Wanganui. Site is bringing a cargo of coal to discharge here. MAINDY LODGE FROM NEWCASTLE. The steamer Maindy Lodge, which called at this port some time ago but had to be diverted to another port on account of the lack of berthage, left Newcastle on Saturday for New Plymouth. She has a cargo of coal, probably about 300’0 tons, to discharge here, and Is expected to arrive about the end of the week. REMUERA LEAVES HOME. According to a cablegram from London the Remuera has sailed for Auckland. She is due at the northern port about April 17. WHAKATANE FROM HOME. A cablegram received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the Whakatane, which left London on January 29 for Suva and Auckland, resumed her voyage from Newport News on March 1. PORT NAPIER FROM LONDON. The C. and D. Line have been advised by cable that the steamer Port Napier is to leave London on April 16 cargo-laden for Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel will come out via the Panama. OTAKI AT PANAMA. A cable message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the liner Otaki arrived at Panama on the 2nd instant from Wellington, en route to Boston and New York. The vessel left Wellington on February 8. ORARI AT PANAMA. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received cable advise that their liner Orari arrived at Panama on the Ist instant, en route from Wellington to London. The vessel left Wellington on February 3. THE CITY OF AUCKLAND. Tie steamer City of Auckland, after being in collision, according to mall advices, has returned to New York for repairs. It was expected that the necessary repairs would be completed within a fortnight. The City of Auckland, running in the interests of the American and Australian Line, when outward bound from Australasian ports, collided with the tanker Bethelridge in a fog off New Jersey. The boM of both vessels were badly damaged. The CltyJ of Auckland was formerly the old steamer Weissenfels, and is a steel steamer of 8319 tdns, and was built in 1914 at Bremen.
