BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL. CHAMPIONSHIPS DECIDED The swimming championships in connection with the New Plymouth Boys’ High School were held at the municipal baths last evening in the presence of a large)'' gathering of friends, parents, and old boys! The arrangements for the sports were in the hands of a committee of boys under the chairmanship of Mr. Eggleton, and the various events were put through l without a hitch. The championship events were divided into three classes, senior, junior, and under 14, whilst other events of an amusing and entertaining nature were also on the programing. The officials were :—Starter, Mr. W. H. Moyes) marksmen, Messrs. A. R. Ryder and G. F. Bertrand; judges, Messrs. R. H. Rockel, W. G. Wilkie, A. W. Diprose, and G. H. Pope: official recorder. Mr. Papps; time-keeper, Mr. J.Bennett; judge of diving, Mr. Blennerhassett. Results:— SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS. 25 Yards. —Foden and Rickard (dead heat) 1, Rawson 3.
