VISIT OF AUCKLAND PLAYERS. THE PROGRAMME ALTERED. A meeting of the executive committee of the Taranaki Bowling Centre was held on Saturday evening, Mr. J. D. Sole presiding. The object of the meeting was to make final arrangements in connection with the visit of the Auckland touring team. Word has been received that the visiting team will consist of eight rinks instead of seven as originally intended, and it was therefore decided to amend the programme, so that on the Friday morning three rinks will play an interclub match against Hawera at Hawera and two rinks against Eltham at Eltham. The programme will therefore be as follows: Visitors arrive at Hawera from Wanganui on Thursday morning, the' 10th inst.; play the first test match the same afternoon at Hawera; stay Hawera Thursday night. Friday morning visiting team divide as follows: Three rinks’play inter-club match against Hawera at Hawera, two rinks play inter-club match against Eltham at Eltham: three rinks play combined Manaia and Auroa clubs at Manaia. Afternoon, five rinks which play at Hawera and Eltham during the moaning, proceed to Stratford and play three rinks from Stratford Club and two rinks from the Avon Club, all on the Stratford green. Three rinks which play at Manaia during the morning prpceed in the afternoon, one rink to and play inter-club match against Pihama, two rinks proceed to Opunake- and play inter-club match against Opunake. All rinks arrive at New Plymouth in the evening. Saturday morning visitors visit places of interest in apd around New Plymouth. In the afternoon play second test match on the Fitzroy green. Sunday.—Trip to the mountain. Monday morning.—Play combined New Plymouth clubs on the Fitzroy green. Afternoon, team divide four rinks, playing an inter-club match against Waitara at Waitara, four rinks playing inter-club match against Inglewood at Inglewood. Return to New Plymouth and attend complimentary smoke concert at Kawaroa Park bungalow in the«evening.
Tuesday—Final test match on the Fitzroy green. Evening visitors return to Auckland by the Rarawa. For the inter-club matches the respective clubs must themselves undertake the entertainment of the visitors, and in cases were two or mqje clubs will be represented on one green the entertainment must be mutually arranged between them. A meeting of the different sub-com-mittees 'will be held this evening at 7.30 o’clock, and a full attendance is requested. . THE TARANAKI TEAMS. FOR FIRST TWO TESTS. The selectors (Messrs. J. D.
