Smith and Inman are playing a match of 16,000 up for £5OO. The game is providing a close and exciting struggle, each frequently overhauling the other and gaining a slight lead. Hooper with a gold watch suitably inscribed. Hooper, acknowledging the gift, said he had received nothing but kindness from the whole billiard fraternity, and every consideration had been shown for tls comfort and happiness.
