ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A WOMAN’S DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, March 3. A single woman, porothea Robeck, aged thirty, was found dead in bed yesterday. It appears deceased had been suffering from nervous depression for soipe time past. A cup containing poison was found on the dressing table near the bed. It is believed deceased committed suicide. Wellington, Last Night. At the inquest on Dorothea Robeck, a single woman, aged 31, a verdict was returned that death was due to poison, self-administered while in a state of mental depression. KILLED BY A TRAM. Auckland, Last NightThe victim of the tramcar fatality which occurred near the corner of Queen and Shortland Streets about 5.30 o’clock on Tuesday evening, has been identified as Carl Mix, a waterside worker, about 38 years of age. Deceased was a single man, and resided at Auckland. NELSON TRAIN FATALITY. Nelson, Last Night.
The inquest on George Wm. Bulford, who died from injuries received during shunting at Port Nelson, has been adjourned till Monday, when a practical demonstration will be given. The issue is whether sufficient warning was given by those in charge of the train.
