Kaiapoi, from Melbourne, early in March. Kara, early in March. Port Hacking, early in April. Liberty, from New Yo?k, end of April. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa is due to arrive from Onehunga at 5.30 o’clock this morning with passengers and cargo. She will sail on the return trip at 8.20 p.m. JOAN CRAIG ARRIVES. The Joan Craig, from Newcastle with a cargo of coal, arrived and anchored in the stream at 1 o’clock yesterday morning. Being given a clear bill of health the vessel berthed at the wharf at about 8 o’clock. The Joan Craig is a steamer of 1148 tons gross, and is in command of Captain Manson. Her cargo consists of 1260 tons of coal consignee to the Railway Department. CORINNA TO-DAY. The Corinna left Nelson at 4.10 p m. yesterday for New Plymouth, and is expected to arrive here to-day. She will not be able to berth till the Poherua sails about noon. RAIN DELAYS WORF Very little work was done on the wharf yesterday on \ccount of the rain that set in early in the day. As there was no prospect of the weather clearing the men were dismissed at 1 o’clock, and although the afternoon became fine, no further work was done. In consequence the Poherua, which was to have sailed yesterday, has been delayed till to-day, and the Kaituna will not get away for Greyunouth till to-morrow. MAIL SERVICE RESUMED. A telegram from Dunedin states that the Vancouver mail service, which was disrupted through the Australian strike, is about to be resumed. The Makura leaves Sydney on March 3 and Auckland on March 8 for Vancouver, via ports. The Niagara leaves Sydney on March 31 and Auckland on April 5 for Vancouver. CANADIAN EXPORTER. \ Murray, Roberts and Co. have received c\ble advice that the Canadian Government steamer Canadian Exporter left Vancouver on February 23 direct for Sydney, instead of for Wellington as previously inttended. The vessel is due in New Zealand from Australia about March 31.
CARGO FROM ADELAIDE. The Union Company advise that their steamer Kaimanawa is to load at Adelaide this week for Wellington and Dunedin. The vessel is to call at Newcastle en route to Wellington. RIMUTAKA ARRIVES. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rimutaka arrived In the stream at Wellington at 7.50 a m. on Saturday from London and Southampton via Panama and Auckland. The vessel will remain In the anchorage until conditions are favorable for the discharge of the remainder of her cargo from Home. PIAKO AT NEWPORT. Cable advice has been received that the New Zealand Shipping Company’s new steamer Piako arrived at Newport News on February 22, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, Wellington, and southern ports. The vessel comes to the agency of the Federal Line. WHAKATANE AT NEWPORT. The New Zealand Shipping Company have been notified by cable that the ,Whakatane arrived at Newport News on February 23, en route from London to Auckland, via Suva. The vessel is due at Auckland about March THE CANADIAN WINNER. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Winner, at present awaiting a settlement of the waterside difficulty at Auckland to work her cargo, is to proceed subsequently to Lyttelton. The vessel has cargo from Vancouver and is to load for that port. THE PORT HACKING. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Hacking arrived in the stream at Wellington on Sunday from New York via Panama, Auckland, and Napier. The vessel has 900 tons of cargo to put out at. Wellington, but will not berth until there is a settlement of the waterside difficulty. After discharge at Wellington the liner will proceed to Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia with remainder of cargo. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. ARRIVED.
