FIGURES FOR FEBRUARY. New Plymouth vital statistics for February show an all round decrease when compared with the figures for the corresponding month of 1920. Details are:— Feb. Feb. 1921. 1920 Births .......... 24 33 Deaths 11 12 Marriages ..... 12 17 This gives a total of 57 births since the beginning of the year, while for the same period the deaths total 19, and there have been 29 marriages. There is a falling off in the number of births compared with 1920, while there have also been fewer marriages.
