EVERYBODY’S. BIG DOUBLE BILL TO-NIGHT. The splendor and beauty of the,, settings of “The Dagon Painter” would make it a notable production, even if it were without a big dramatic theme, and an unusual actor (supported by a fine cast. “The Dragon Painter” is one of the beautiful love legends of Old Japan awakened- to life on the screen, and as is fitting, the entire cast is Japanese. Sessue Hayakawa, the -great Japanese dramatic actor, has the stellar role, and is supported by his wife, Tsuru Aoki. This is onp of the features showing to-night at Everybody’s. The second feature is'a Vitagraph story of the Canadian lumber camps, entitled “The Little Boss,” with charming Bessie Love in the leading part. the Peoples. LAST NIGHT OF DORIS KENYON. Doris Kenyon, heading her own company in “Twilight,” a virile story of the timber jacks, gives what is conceded to be her finest performance to date. She ably plays the role of “Twilight” the orphan daughter of a traveller, who is adopted by Jim Anwell, the big timber jack. WonderfuLseenes of a forest fire and Twilight’s miraculous escape add an unusual thrill-to this de Luxe screen play. The bill includes gazette, comedy and Elmo the Fearless. Tomorrow’s change presents a Selznick special feature “The Valley of Doubt” a thrilling play .of the lumberlands, presenting Arline Pretty and an all star cast. The matinfee to-morrow commences at 2 p.m.
