PAYMENT IN GERMAN BONDS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright Received Feb. 24, 9.30 p.m. New York, Feb. 22. President Wilson has recommended Congress to enact legislation accepting German bonds in full payment of Belgium’s debt to the United States contracted before the armistice, which totals 170,000.000 dollars. Belgium owes as much more contracted since the armistice. President Wilson reminded Congress than an agreement in this direction had been made by the Reparations Commission in June, 1919.—Reuter Service.
