Summer, a crippled man who ; had been discharged from the Trentham I Military Hospital, fell from a staircase I to the ground in the Empire Hotel yesI terday and was removed to. the hospital. It was found that both thighs were fractured and he died from shock. FOUND DEAD. Wellington, Feb. 22. D. L. MTlutcheson, employed in the biding department of the Treasury, was fbund dead in one of the rooms of the department. He was a married man of 60 with no family.
