COAL FROM WALES.
FOR NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. ANOTHER PURCHASE MADE. Br Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Feb. 20, 5.5 p.m. London, Feb. 19. An Anglo-New Zealand firm, Messrs. Neagle, has purchased 150,000 tons of Welsh coal on behalf of the New Zealand railways. Sir James Allen had previousy purchased 30,000 tons. It is explained that Welsh coal is now cheaper than American.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
