DISPOSAL OF PRODUCE.

WOOL STORED IN ENGLAND. MR. MASSEY TO INVESTIGATE. In the course of a speech at Christchurch, the Prime Minister said that if he went to England he would look into the whole position of the London markets and the disposal of New Zealand produce. -Sir Arthur Goldfinch had told him there was in store in England wool of the value of £22,000,000, and against that there were £7,000,000 or £8,000,000 accumulated profits. Sir Arthur Goldfinch said if the wool was not sold at a certain figure, that the latter amount would be set up against the loss and New Zealand would get nothing. Of course if there were a profit New Zealand would get her share. That did not appeal to Mr. Massey, who looked forward to some interesting discussions on the matter when he got to England.
