The visit of a Bolshevik emissary named Hoenning led to a riot at Mafera, in the province of Potenza. The citizens refused him entry. An angry crowd invaded the Town Hall, expelled the Socialist councillors, and set fire to furniture and papers in the Labor Exchange. —Reuter Service.
