TO-NIGHT’S MEETING. Mr. Enwrlght, who is competing at the baths at New Plymouth to-night, has ahjlved here. Mr. Enwright has recently been corhpeting at the Dunedin Carnival, where he won the Dominion 100 yards sprint, and was runner-up in the 50 yards event. lie won the championship in the 50 and 100 yards events at the New Zealand Division sports in France, and was also holder of the record of 26sec. for the 50 yards event. The programme will commence at 8 o'clock. A number of hand!I caps and other events have been arranged. Exceptional entries have been received for the ladies’ and senior girls’ events, and several tumorous events will be put on. The meeting promises to be the most successful j yet held at the baths. Kealoha brolte the Australian record for the hundred yards in a heat for the Australian championships in 55 4-ssec. The final resulted: Kealoha 1, Stedman 2, Beaurepalre 3. Time, 56sec.
