MEMORIAL AT NEW DELHI. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Feb. 12, 1.10 a.m. Delhi, Feb. 13. The Duke of Connaught laid the foundation stone of an All-Indian war memorial at new Delhi in the presence of Indian and representatives of Imperial service troops. The Duke read the King’s message paying a tribute to the 60,000 soldiers and 850 Indian officers killed. He also conferred the .title “Royal” on eight Indian units, and the Duke was made Colonel-in-Chief of the 47th Sikhs.— Aus.-N.Z Cablr Assn
