The chief decreases in imports were grain and flour £4,804,991, meat £6,250,497, dutiable food and drink £B,658,815, raw cotton £27,715,992. The increased imports were manufactured oils and fats £5,078,146. The chief decreases in exports were: Coal £5.986,429. cotton yarns manufactures £7,108,7 7. The increase in exports were: Machinery £4,326,899 and vehicles £4,760,424.
