SMALLPOX SUSPECT.

CASE ON THE MGANA. VESSEL HELD UP. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Moana, from Sydney, arrived this afternoon, but as a suspicious case is reported on board the vessel was not allowed ‘ nh, and she remains in the stream. Health officers visited the vessel and examined the patient, but at the time of telegraphing they had not diagnosed the case sufficiently to warrant making a public pronouncement. Further investigation will be made tomorrow. Small-pox is suspected.
