It is announced that the Brazilian State of Sao Paulo has promised an asvlum to 100,000 Russian Refugees from the Crimea, following Wrangel’s collapse The Sao Paulo authorities will pay transportation and organise the refugees into colonies. Sao Paulo recently contracted for 20,000 Japanese, and it is assumed the Russians, like these, will be employed on the coffee plantations. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
