A FATAL FALL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Joseph Wilson, in the employ of the City Corporation, was killed while engaged at the corporation's quarry at Lyall Bay to-day. Apparently Wilson overbalanced as a result of a sudden movement of his horse, and fell to the ground, breaking his neck. DEATH UNDER ANAESTHETIC. Invercargill, Last Night. Elsie Beatrice Glogier, aged 16 years, who resided with her parents at Awnrua Plains, died in the Southland Hospital this morning while under an anaesthetic. Deceased underwent aii operation for the removal of tonsils and adenoids, which was successfully completed. Afterwards, however, it was noticed that ate was not breathing, though the heart was beating. Artificial respiration was unavailing. DEATH FROM HEAD INJURY. Invercargill. Last Night. Sydney James Hogg, of Orepuki, who was seriously injured in the head through a fall from the steeplechaser Kilrow at Orepuki last Thursday, med in the Riverton Hospital on Monday night. Deceased, who was 22 years of age. leaves a widow and one child.
