EMPIRE UNIVERSITIES.

CONGRESS AT OXFORD. London, Jan. 13. Plans have now been framed for a congress of universities o-f the Empire to meet at Oxford in July. Tt is expected that delegates from all the 58 universities in the United Kingdom and the Overseas Dominions will attend. Distinguished members of the Cabinet and former members of the Cabinet who are Chancellors of English. Scottish and Irish universities will preside, and many universities will be represented by their heads. For example, Sir Arthur Currie, of the McGill University, Canada, and other principals from overseas, will visit English universities, of which they will be the guests for a montn.
