NORMAL WORK AT THE MINES. FULL CAPACITY TO-DAY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. In regard to the mining situation it is expected the majority of the mines will be working normal capacity tomorrow. The Prime Minister, interviewed tonight, intimated that all was going well towards a settlement of the dispute. THE KAITANGATA MINE. WORK NOT RESUMED. Dunedin, Feb. 4. In connection with the Kaitangata mine a deputation of miners interviewed the mjinagement, stating that they had a message from the federation that all work was to be resumed and the Kaitangata dispute submitted to the tribunal set up to deal with the Blackball dispute. The management informed the deputation that such was not the case as the tribunal was only empowered to deal with Blackball and there was no dispute between the Kaitqngata Company and the men. The question of resumption was therefore still deferred.
