The freaks, the bearded lady, the skeleton man, the bareback riders, the trapeze artists, all are there in “Hoop La,” a story of the circus, with all the glamor of the big riding in every scene. That dainty little bit of femininity, Billie Rhodes is in the title* role, and does a lot ,f hard work with apparent ease, being wonderfully versatile In her exacting role of equestrienne, trapezist, dancer and clown, and finally society belle. The picture is one that should delight every one, young and old. There will be a complete change to-morrow when Madge Kennedy will star in the Goldwyn comedy-feature “Leave it to Susan.”

T|IE EMPIRE. FINAL SCREENING TO-NIGHT. “BLIND HUSBANDS.” Erie von Stroheim’s second picture wonder, “Blind Husbands,” was screened to a crowded house at the Empire last night. Whose people are real flesh-and-blood—-whose faithful details are an eye-and-inind delight—whose story holds your heart a helpless prisoner till the last tremendous* moment comes and a glorious surprise sends you away in a glow of happiness. Staged amidst enthralling Alpine scenery, this drama of/two men and a neglected wife rises to neights of emotion as towering as the mighty peaks which are the silent witnesses of the great disaster—and surprise—at the end. The box plans are at Collier’s for the final screening to-night. \ THE PEOPLE’S. “FLOSS,” THE CANINE MARVEL/ The new picture bill to-night at the People’s is headed by the famous French beauty, Raby de R'emer, in “His Temporary Wife.” a laughable romance of two young and very rich people.
