THE IMPORTANCE OF UNITY STEP TOWARDS REAL PEACE. Received Jan. 30, 11 p.m. Paris, Jan. 29. The newspaper Le Temps says: “Germany needs peace. We hope she will recognise the necessity of fulfilling her obligations voluntarily, and also have courage to grasp her responsibilities.’" Debats says the principal cause for rejoicing at the results of the Conference is the maintenance of Allied unity, which no living statesman dare disturb. Intransigeant hails to-day as a good dav for France, adding that it is a step forward on the real road to peace Liberte says Mr. Lloyd George, with profound political wisdom brought about concrete decisions, while M.
