BOAT UPSET.

FOUR MEN MISSING. BELIEVED TO BE DROWNED. TRACED! NEAR MASTERTON By Telegraph —Press Association. Masterton, Last Night. What is feared to be a most distress ing fatality occurred to-day at Castlepoint, a seaside resort forty-five miles from Maaterton. Four well-known residents of Masterton set out early this morning on a fishing expedition near the lighthouse in a flat-bottomed boat, the members of tht party being Ivan O’Connor, Hopkins, R. Biggs and H. Wooding, all married men. A heavy sea waa experienced outside, and the boat was swamped and upset. The boat was subsequently seen drifting out to sea with three men clinging to the bottom. It was last seen as it became enveloped in the mist going north in the direction of Mataikona. It is feared all hands were Jost. Search parties from Masterton and district are searching the beach for bodies.
