LAWN TENNIS.
INTER-PROVINCIAL CONTEST. AUCKLAND v. TARANAKI. Advice has been received by the secretary of the Taranaki Lawn Tennis Association from the Auckland Association, agreeing to play the annual match, Auckland v. Taranaki, on Monday, February 21. No details are yet to hand, but it is hoped that the Auckland team will arrive in time to plaj in the Taranaki championship and handicap tournament, which commences on the New Plymouth Club’s courts on Thursday, February 17.
