MARRIAGE VOWS ON FINGERS.

ALL-DEAF-AND-DUMB WEDDINGA wedding in which the bride and bridegroom were totally deaf and of imperfect speech, while the best man and the two bridesmaids, were deaf and dumb, has taken place at Walsoken Church, near Wisbech (Cambs). . The bridegroom was Mr. John Hardiinan, of Wisbech St. Mary, and the bride was Miss Gertrudge Kerridge, of Walgoken. Mr. Stanly Gente was best man, and the bridesmaids were Miss D. Palmer and Miss D. Dade. Many deaf and dumb friends attended the ceremony, Which was performed in the usual oral wav by the rector, the Rev. John Young. The bride and bridegroom made their Carriage vows on their fingers in the leaf and dumb code. The service was interpreted to them in the same method by Mr. G. A Mackenzie, Diocesan Reader in the Diocese of Ely and St- Albans, frho is also totally deaf.
