HORSE WITH TWO RIDERS. London, Jan. 10. An unusual racing incident is recorded from Gatwick. In the Leatherhead Selling Hurdle Race Stubbs, who had the mount on Fizzer 11., was thrown in the early stages of the race. ■' d was walking in with his horse, wh. Old Brandy, who was then winning easily, fell at the last obstacle, the jockey being disabled. Thereupon Stubbs immediately mounted Old Brandy, raced to the winning post, and being able to draw the weight, was placed second.
