DOMINION TOURNAMENT. YESTERDAY'S PLAY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Dominion bowling championships were continued to-day. The first round of the pairs competition (sixteen heads played) resultedHutch!,son (Dunedin) 12, v. Porteous (Wellington) 10; Cliegwin (Beckenham) 12, v. Smith (Hataitai) 9; Sexton (Newtown) 15, v. Brackenridge (Newtown) 14; Benyon (Petone) 17. v. Jackson (Canterbury) 10; Proctor (Victoria) 19, v. Foley (Thorndon) 18; Jury (Karangahake) 2'l, v. Munro (Eastbourne) 17; Dee (Maitai) 17, v. Harroway (Dunedin) 11; Potter (Wellington) 20. v. Tyrell (Lyall Bay) 12. Potter (Wellington) a'nd Walker (Ponsonby) unet early to see which should be eligible for this morning’s round. Eleven heads were played, and Potter won 9— ~i. The second round resulted: —'Sexton (Newtown) 15, v. Jury (Karangahake) 14; Potter (Wellington) 18, v. Benyon (Petone) 8; Proctor (Victoria) 12, v. Hutchison (Dunedin) 10; Chegwin (Beckenham) 13, v. Dee (Maitai) 12. Semi-finals:—Potter (Wellington) 22 v. Proctor (Victoria) 4; Sexton (Newtown) 17 v. Chegwin (Beckenham) 16. The final in unfinished. After twelve heads wore played Potter was 15 and Sexton 6. The final will be concluded to-morrow. The singles commence to-morrow and conclude on Wednesday, and this will finish the tournament.
