RIOTS IN INDIA. AMENDED LAND ACT URGED. Delhi, Jan. 19. The agrarian riots have again broken out in the Fijzabad district of the United Provinces. Several houses were destroyed, crops burned, landlords illtreated, and property damaged. Armed police were called out and 60 arrests were made. The Governor has sent a message asking tfor an immediate amendment of the present Land Act. Mr. Montague (Secretary of State for India) has cabled an urgent request for the fullest information.
