DEMPSEY AND CARPENTIER. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. New York, Jan. 19. Brady confirmed the Tinies’ statement that the Dempsey v. Carpentier bout has been cancelled. He declared that under the original contract relations had been dissolved since Carpentier and Dempsey had not deposited the guarantee. Carpentier was unable to transfer 50,000 dollars in gold from France owing to a Government prohibition. Brady added that he and Cochran Were dissociated completely from the present arrangement.
