EXPORT OF MEAT.

LOADING THE WANGARATTA A VALUABLE CARGO. The quantity of meat to be taken from Taranaki by the liner Wangaratta, at present loading at New Plymouth for Home ports, represents a very considerable sum in money to the province. .The vessel is to load consignments equivalent to about 76,000 freight carcases, and tht value of this cargo is estimated at about £98,500. The meat is being consigned by the Taranaki Farmers’ Meat Company, who are sending 21,946 quarters of Government beef (equal to 51,000 freight catcases), and by Messrs. Borthwick and Sons, Waitara, who are despatching 25,000 freight carcases. The loading will not be completed till the end of the week.
