CAUSE OF CRISIS. BOLSHEVIK COUP D’ETAV. By Telegraph.—Press Asm.—Copyright. Delhi, Jan. 16. The withdrawal of British troops from Teheran is’ imminent. The Premier resigned on January 14. An important meeting of Persian notables was called to discuss the situation. The Shah desired to proceed to Europe, but finally, under pressure, agreed to remain, and the Premier’s resignation was withdrawn. The general opinion is that the Bri-tish-Persian agreement is dead.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. London ,Jan. 17. The crisis in Persia is due to a new Bolshevik Cabinet seizring jlower. It was practically a coup d’etat. The Shah left the capital. He has gone to Shiraz where he is endeavoring to form a new Government. —United Service.
