NEW SOUTH WALES TEAM. MATCHES AT CHRISTCHURCH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Jan. 17. A tennis match, Canterbury v. New South Wales, was commenced this morning. The conditions' were favorable though slightly dull. Results: Marsh beat Aitken, 2—6, 6—4, 6—2. F. Peach lost to Goss, 5—7, 3 —6. Watt beat Quill. 6—4, 7 —5. Henderson beat Wilding, 7 —5, 6—2. Peach Bros, beat Goss and Greenwood, 6—4, 6—3. March and Watt lost to Aitken and Wilding, 13—11, 4—6. 6—4. Marsh and Watt beat Goss and Greenwood, 9—7, 6—B.
