THE PERTH STRIKE.
CONDITIONS NORMAL AGAIN. TERMS OF SETTLEMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Receivj?! Jan 16, 5.5 p.m. Perth, Jan. 16. The railway and tram men are back at work. The services are gradually resuming, and business, which had been largely at a standstill since the strike began, again notmal. The terms of the settlement are that one side concedes recognition of the eight-hour principle, higher wages for night work, all strikers to be reinstated, and time lost not to be cgunted as a break in the service. The other side agrees to the submission of all points in dispute to the Arbitration Court.— Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn. RAILWAY TROUBLE SETTLED. Perth, Jan. 15. The railway strike has been settled by the interven/tion of Bishop Riley. The differences have been referred to the Arbitration Court. There will be no vic-timisation.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
