LONDON MARKETS. WOOL RESERVES LOWERED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received Jan. 13, 8.45 p.m. London, Jan. 12. Waihi shares, 26/3 and 28/9. At the wool sales there was a poor demand. The Government reserves were lowered five to twenty per cent, compared with the last sales, mostly on average shabbier sorts, but the reduction ! was insufficient to tempt the market. 1 Twenty per cent, of the offerings was sold. New Zealand One A brought 13d. Ta110w.—2339 casks offered and 155 sold, at an average decline of two shillings. Mutton, 52s to 475; Ifeef, 60s to 445. Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. AUSTRALIAN MARKETS.
