CITIZENS’ BAND.
RESIGNATIONS REPORTED. MR. McLEOD AND OTHERS. The resignations of of the prin cipal executive officers of the Npw Plymouth Citizens’ Band are, it is understood, pending, the gentlemen concerned being Mr. F. W. G. McLeod (bandmaster), Mr. Sole (chairman), and Mr. H. R. Cattley (secretary). A special meeting of the band will be held to-morrow night to consider the matter. Approached by a Daily News representative last night Mr.. McLeod said: “I think it is rather premature to say anything, as I have not written my resignation. All I can say is that a special meeting will be held »on Wednesday night, and my resignation may be before the meeting.” Mr. McLeod was not prepared to discuss the reasons leading to this position.
