GIRL DROWNED.

FAMILY’S THIRD LOSS. By Telegrnph.—Press Association. Westport, Last Night. At Granity yesterday afternoon, Marjory McNeight, 15 years old, a daughter of Mr and Mrs T. McNeight, was drowned whilst surf bathing, through being carried out on the ebb tide. The body was found at five o’clock this morning on the beach at Ngakawau. The McNeight’s have been particularly unfortunate in respect to drowning accidents, as a son some years ago lost his life in a water race at Addisons. Mr McNeight’s mother was also drowned whilst attempting to cross the Totara River.
