EVERYBODYS. THEDA BARA IN “DU BARRY.” Gorgeousness and exquisite attention to detail mark the production of “Du Barry” as made by Theda Bara for William Fox. Nothing that has yet been done approaches it in the matter of beauty of scenery and the bringing out of the delicate and strong points which were characeristic of a certain period, and which have best impressed themselves upon history in the person of a single woman. It was believed that a great deal regarding the famous character of Mme. du Barry had been lost, but this has proved not to be the case. Theda Bara has had an unusual opportunity to learn the truth about this woman, and she has grasped tiie real incentives for her actions, the manner of her living and of her emotions in a way that is a revelation. Just as there was in the actual case of this woman the wonderful surroundings of the gorgeous court of Louis XV, and of the fast-moving cyclorama of history, so in Miss Bara’s presentation the most splendid places have been made again for her to act her part in. Furnishings and costumes, and even the smallest detail are wonderfully correct and beautiful and attractive. “Du Barry” screens to-night and at both sessions tomorrow, and there is an excellent supporting THE PEOPLE’S. LAST NIGHT OF . DORIS KENYON AND IRENE CASTLE. To-night is the final screening of the big double bill featuring Doris Kenyon in “The Inn of the Blue Moon” and Irene Castle in “The Girl from Bohemia.” Both features are splendid entertainment, and should not be missed. ELSIE JANIS TO-MORROW. To-morrow’s change, also a double star attraction, presents popular Elsie Janis in Selznick’s latest offering, “A Regular Girl,” and the big Alaskan play “The Flame of Youth,” with an all-star cast.
