PRESSMEN RESCUED. By Telegraph.—Press Ajgp.—CapjTlght. Sydney, Jan. 3. A fire in Elizabeth destroyed the top storeys above Lille’s furniture emporium, including ttyq. Qhijrch . Missionary Society’s rooms with an exceptionally valuable library and aollacUon of curios. The Press fflub and the Journalists’ Association’s - rooms were badly damaged. The fire spread so rapidly that a number of p/essmen barely escaped. Two were trapped, but firememjvith a ladder rescued them from a wirtf»\v.
