Also started: Hectdale, Until, Kaloon, Country Queen, Mountain Wood, Lady Wild, Nellie Scott, Cross Battery, Thea. Won by three lengths. Time, 3 min 36 1-5 secs. FLYING HANDICAP—SiIver Peak (G. Young) 1, Pyjama 2, Link Up 3. Also ran: Satisfaction, Bothnia. Won by a head. Time, 1 min 15 1-5 secs. NEW YEAR HANDlCAP—Frenchman (J. A. Rorland) 1, Roseday 2, Necessity 3.
