They declare Japan is willing to co-operate in the limitation of shipbuilding. The Asahi Shimbun expresses anxiety a.s to what may happen if Britain does not renew the Anglo-Japanese alliance, but says a reduction of armaments is a better guarantee than alliances. —Aue.N.Z.
