By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. The conference of ambassadors has decided that the western territories of Hungary must be ceded to Austria by March. The Registrar-General estimates the
British losses in births attributable to the war at half a million. Approximately the same total were killed on active service. It is understood the British Government’s scheme for renewing trade with the Continent is reaching finality, and it i»j hoped to make a start early in 1921. It is reported Russia will be included. New York says a Baltimore telegram states Cardinal Gibbons is sinking, and the last sacraments of the church have been administered. He had two relapses, and is growing weaker. It is stated the Government has no knowledge of the reported recall of Krassin. It is not true that Britain desires to depart from the agreement reached in June.
